With 25 languages to choose from, many people can’t just pick one that they wish to learn! Learning a second language is a popular endeavor, and learning two languages at once is not an uncommon goal. Some who decide to take on this challenge are hesitant due to concerns of a huge time commitment or cost. Others believe that it is harder to learn even one language as an adult, yet alone two. Set those misconceptions aside. Rosetta Stone makes language learning convenient on your schedule at a fraction of the cost of a classroom course. And research suggests that your ability to learn a language is mostly a matter of practice. Obviously, you will need to set aside individual practice times for each language, but with the right program, it should not be overwhelming.
When learning a new language, here are some helpful tips to consider which can make your journey even more enjoyable.
Rosetta Stone can help. We believe everyone has the ability to learn to read, write and speak a new language with confidence using our award-winning program. With over 25 years of language learning experience, we know which techniques work. Using that knowledge, we have designed learning around a method called Dynamic Immersion®. This method enables you to acquire vocabulary and phrases in the context in which they’re used in everyday conversations. You'll be surrounded with words, images, and the voices of native speakers. You will progress naturally from learning words and phrases to sentences and conversations. This uses your own natural language-learning abilities to connect new language with meaning in the context of real-life. Rosetta Stone also employs its TruAccent® technology to compare your voice to native speakers. You will receive immediate corrections based on the quality of your pronunciation. TruAccent will have you speaking like a local in no time.
With 25 languages to choose from, you’re not limited to learning just one language! Rosetta Stone offers an unlimited language subscription for the lifetime of the product, making learning more than one language more convenient that ever before.
Surround yourself with a language whenever, wherever with the Rosetta Stone app .
Download a unit and knock it out on the train or a flight. Select a 5-10 minute lesson and sneak it in while you wait in line or for your ride to show up. And explore dynamic features, like Seek and Speak, where you can point at an object in the real world and get a translation .
The best part? You don’t have to choose between app or desktop. Both come with your subscription and sync, so you can switch between devices seamlessly.
I've been using Rosetta Stone for years to gain basic competency in multiple languages including German, French, Italian, and recently Chinese and Russian. Starts with the very basics teaching basic vocabulary and grammar without any memorization. I've even impressed some locals in my travels with pronunciation and fluency. This is an excellent place to start if interested in starting to learn a new language or brushing up on one learned years ago.-Gladys
I am trying out Rosetta Stone, to see if it will help out with the correct grammar and conversation (as well as learning how to read and write the language). Within a week, I can already master the sentence structure and start learning the grammar with particles. The local community is so excited to see that I am starting to learn their language. Out of all the language learning tools out there, I 100% recommend Rosetta Stone!-Sy
I've tried other language learning software but Rosetta Stone is much more challenging and professional. I don't have to worry about earning points and following the leader board. I'm trying out the ninety day trial to learn some Russian and I will pay for the privilege once I reach the end of the trial.-Jim
