While we do our best to ensure our products work as often as well as possible, errors do happen. If your issue provided you with an exact error code, visit our Support Portal and run a search for the exact error code.
How do I install the program?Top
First and foremost, make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements. If it does, then you're off to a good start.
If you happen to have the Online Subscription then you're in luck, as the program is entirely browser-based and requires no installation. For our Rosetta Stone® Language Learning CD-ROM and Download however, installation is required. A handy wizard will walk you through the process when you insert the CD or you can follow the instructions on the download pages.

Got your hands on a copy of our Rosetta Stone® Language Learning CD-ROM but lack a CD drive to install it on your computer? While this makes things a bit more difficult, it is still entirely possible.

The software can be installed on up two computers for use for up to five family members.
What is Audio Companion and how can I can use it? Top
Audio Companion™ is specially designed audio that compliments the core Language Training lessons so you can continue practicing your language away from your computer. These are audio-only files that are separate from our selection of mobile apps. You can download audio companion files from the Settings icon in the toolbar of your program. Follow this article for step-by-step instructions.
How do I deactivate the product? Top
There are plenty of reasons to deactivate your Rosetta Stone® product, from a simple return to migrating to a new computer. Deactivating is a simple process that can be done through the program interface itself.
- Click on the Settings icon in the Toolbar
- Click on Add or Remove Languages
- Click Deactivate Products

Where do I renew my Language Learning Online Subscription? Top
Within the product interface, you can renew your access to the online features by hovering over your name and then selecting My Account. If you're unsure what My Account is, check out this article.
