What is Rosetta Studio and how often can I take sessions?

Rosetta Studio allows you to practice your new language in a real time setting. These live sessions are led by a Studio Coach who is a native speaker. Your coach knows exactly what progress you've made, and the session will take place entirely in your new language.

With TOTALe online services, you can have four 25-minute live, online sessions per month with a coach and up to three other learners. If you prefer, there are also private one-on-one sessions available.

Are there limits to the sessions?

If you have current access to TOTALe online features, you can take up to four sessions a month, each lasting 25 minutes.

What happens during the sessions?

The sessions can either take place in a one-on-one setting or in a small-group setting with up to three other learners. You will see your Studio Coach and the names of all the learners in the room. All communication is solely via your new language, reinforcing what you learned from your Rosetta Course lessons.

Can I take Studio sessions on my iPad®?

TOTALe Studio HD is an iPad app that allows you to participate in previously scheduled Studio sessions. Studio sessions have to be scheduled first through your TOTALe account on your computer. The app is compatible only with iPad 2 and later models.

How do I prepare for my studio session?

Taking part in a live session might bring bad memories of forced participation in school. However, the Studio sessions are anything but. Relax, speak up, and most importantly, have fun. I prefer to learn at weird hours. Are there going to be Studio Sessions?

Language learning can take place at any time of day and anywhere in the world. Luckily, scheduling a Rosetta Studio session is a snap and can easily fit into your schedule. For many languages, 25 minute Studio sessions can be found from the wee hours in the morning to the middle of the night. Just be sure to plan your session far in advance to ensure your spot!
