Very helpful tool
Though the State Department designates it as one of its "critical languages," there are few academic resources in Wisconsin by which one can properly study Turkish. Thankfully, Rosetta Stone has proved an invaluable language tool, offering me a relatively less expensive, thorough, and accommodating alternative to classroom-based study.
Specifically, it worked best for me when used in conjunction with watching Turkish films or soap operas. I would do a Rosetta Stone lesson, and then watch a soap opera episode on YouTube. Right away I could identify in each episode new vocabulary or sentence structures that I just learned from Rosetta Stone. I am quite satisfied with my progress thus far...and now addicted to Turkish soap operas.
