Good Purchase I think the product is worth the purchase. I enjoy the format of the lessons. With repeitition, you will catch on quickly. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to learn a new language. The only drawback that I have found is that there are no Engligh substitles underneath the phrases you learn. I have spoken to other Rosetta Stone users and they also felt the same way. It's important to know what you are saying; otherwise, you will find yourself on Bing Translator daily to translate. Pretty Good We haven't had a lot of time to work with the program but in the time we have it's been pretty good. It take a little getting use to but after you learn the ins and out it's a really nice program. April 14, 2011

It's Finally Sticking! I studied Polish at adult community college classes and learned the basic grammar, but I had a hard time getting vocabulary, noun & adjective declensions & verb conjugations to stick. Rosetta Stone Polish got me over that hump. Constant repetition helped me condition the speech muscles to be able to handle the Polish consonants, which take a lot of practice. The photos are interesting, pleasant to look at, and sometimes funny & cute. The program is very enjoyable to use so that daily work is not a chore. This motivates me to go over the material several times until it begins to sink in. I study on the bus to and from work using my laptop. Sometimes I work hard and sometimes I just click through the lessons for relaxing reminders. When I did a two-week intensive course in Krakow after working through Levels 1 and 2, my vocabulary knowledge from RS allowed me to concentrate on listening and speaking in class, while the others will still struggling to understand the words. Another advantage of the RS intuitive style is that at the beginning of Level 3 I'm beginning to recognize word roots and see patterns in how words are formed. New words are easier to learn when I know or sense the meanings of their components. I'll give it a 4 here because Polish has some unusual verb forms that RS can't quite make intuitive. You will probably want to supplement with a grammar book in order to understand why different verbs are being used in seemingly the same situations, and to get an orientation to the seven noun cases (Swan's Polish Verbs & Essentials of Grammar is excellent.) As for cost, keep in mind that you could spend $100 a quarter for 2-3 quarters of adult education classes and learn a lot less. August 14, 2010
Polish, what your parents should have told you. When I was a younger girl, my grandmother stayed with us. She would quiz me on what I had learned at school and to help her learn the English language. With your course, I am now learning what, had I been older, should have asked my grandmother to teach me. But something funny happened, as I do the lessons, I am more aware of how much my grandmother did teach me. And to the Rosetta Stone, this is not only providing me with the language, but also to a link with my grandmother. I have also learned that it is never too late to learn. And although I love your Polish language, my next language will be for to be able to travel to another country and be able to speak their language and not be only restricted to "tourist areas". France, look out, a crazy Polish-American may be coming to you soon. (Maybe, instead of a monetary prize, I could get the Rossetta Stone French CDs). Just a thought. April 13, 2010
Best language learning approach Polish is a very difficult language to learn; I had tried in college but could not master the fundamentals. With Rosetta Stone, I am acquiring a large vocabulary and excellent pronounciation in addition to everyday language usage. The Rosetta Stone method has made learning Polish possible for me, and I am so happy I chose this program. I meet with a native Polish speaker to practice, and she says my pronounciation is excellent. The pronounciation aids in Rosetta Stone are phenomenal. The greatest language purchase you can make I grew up around Polish, but I never learned the language. Whenever I met a Polish person, in life or on the job, I would ask them to teach me a few words here and there. Polish, like many of the Rosetta Stone languages, is hard to learn unless you have the time and money for a class, and most of the time, it's not even offered. Rosetta Stone gave me the wherewithal to learn the language on my own terms. I am slowly picking it up (at my own pace), and now when I converse with my Polish friends, I do it with confidence and with an ever-improving accent. I highly recommend this product to anyone! Excellent investment in yourself! It has always been a lifelong desire to learn my ancestors native language. If, when I was a child, we knew then what we know now, I would not be writing this review. I did understand Polish before I understood English because I was always with my Grandmother who only spoke Polish but, when I didn't understand my own Mother, she put a stop to that real quick. Since then I have tried everything, classes, tapes, cd's, books and easily got so frustrated trying to learn phonetic sound for the actual word, not to mention all the different ways to say one thing was enough to make a person give up in a heartbeat. Then there was actually speaking this language! Which is something I never found the courage to do out of fear of ridicule or people looking at me like I was from outer space! Rosetta Stone changed all that! I am actually learning the way my Grandmother taught me and believe it or not some things are starting to come back to me. I belong to a Polish Church and I am so tickled pink when I understand what they are taking about or when they ask or say something to me and I now have the confidence to answer them thanks to Rosetta Stone. I am even considering a trip to Poland! Rosetta Stone is the only way to learn another language. It could not be made any more simple. If you really want to learn. This is the tool I purchased this product and despite the fact that I'm not finished yet, I can honestly say that I have learned a lot of Polish with this curse. Of course, nothing can be compared to the experience of leaving in Poland and practice with people that can correct you. But with Rosetta Stone Polish, you will have a good start. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because I'm not happy with not being able to purchase and study level 4 and 5 like they have on other languages. Otherwise, I'll give it full 5 stars. Rosetta Stone was a very good language learning device. It incorporates you into learning how to speak naturally and i was very impressed by the results. The only complaint i have is that it is difficult to learn the grammar of polish. It does not explain anything its just gives you examples which you are suppose to pick up on which can be difficult. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to be able to go to Poland and communicate in polish. September 7, 2009
Learning a Language is Hard I find the Rosetta Stone process a good one although I am very slow and find that I need to write things down as I go so that I can remember and memorize. The periodic reviews are helpful and the added CDs for listening are very helpful. At times I feel I haven't made any progress but then I realize that a lot of words and phrases are in my head so that's good. Of course, when my Polish friends write me emails, I still stumble over them a lot. Also if I work a bit every day it is much better than putting lessons off. It takes real discipline. August 5, 2009

Polish Lvl 1-3 I think Rosetta is a good system, IF you're willing to put the time into working with it. It's very easy and intuitive to use. If you work about an hour each day, you'll begin to see results. The best part of Rosetta is the way it makes you naturally think about language, you don't feel like you're working on memorizing words. It's also very useful for pronunciation. The Polish language program is good, and it does it's best on trying to teach this rich language. Polish has some grammar and language rules that are not familiar or found in English, but since Rosetta doesn't work with text to specifically explain some of these concepts, it can leave one a little confused at times. I'm fortunate enough to live with a native Polish speaker who has helped me work with and understand some of the concepts covered in the program. This program is best used with another, more detailed, learning curriculum if you want to get the most out becoming proficient in a self-taught language. July 9, 2009
Brought Generations Together Rosetta Stone has helped me communicate with my family members like never before. I am a first generation Polish-American, raised with the English language. Because I did not speak Polish, my conversations with several family members, especially grandparents, were never very deep. After 6 months of using Rosetta Stone regularly, my ability to speak the language of the older generations of my family was nearly fluent. I love Rosetta Stone I have levels 1,2, and 3 of Polish. While Polish has proven to be a very difficult language I am learning so much. After struggling through 3 years of high school Spanish I thought I just wasn't meant to learn a foreign language but the Rosetta Stone format is much more effective than anything else I've ever seen. A fun, fast way to learn Polish This is a great way to learn Polish. It allows you the opportunity to learn at your own pace. Rosetta Stone reinforces the language, makes it fun and allows you the opportunity to go back and review what you may have forgotten. It makes Polish begin to roll off you tongue which is a feat in itself. I have taken a year of Polish in college and this has made learning Polish so much easier and most importantly fun too! Wonderful Program I absolutely love my Rosetta Stone language program. It is very easy to use and I feel like I am learning much faster than I possibly could using traditional language learning tools. Fast, Easy, and Effective I purchased this program for my boyfriend who will be traveling with me to Poland this summer, I was absolutely surprised when just after two weeks of learning he sent me a text in polish telling me he's having eggs and bread for breakfast! I couldn't believe how quickly he picked up some of the basics I have been unsuccessfully trying to teach him for months! Im really pleased with his progress and find that when I speak to him in Polish now he understands me! I would definately recommend this product to my friends, I think it's a fast, easy and effective way of learning a new language and I'm so proud of the progress he's made in such a short amount of time. I married a Polish girl When I first met my Polish bride to be, she spoke very little English. We had to draw pictures to communicate. She studied hard and learned English (her 4th language) very well. When we visit her wonderful family in Poland, everyone sits around the table and laughs and has a great time, but, I feel left out because I understand very little Polish. So, I began studying Polish language. First I bought a book, but, having no foundation in the language, found it very difficult and frustrating. Then I bought some vocabulary CDs which helped me learn a lot of words and simple phrases, however, I still did not have a good concept of how the language worked. The Rosetta Stone course is helping me build a foundation to grow my knowledge of Polish language. The comprehensive approach with pictures, native speakers, pronunciation, grammer practice, writing, reading and intuitive learning makes this product very effective. It still takes work, but, I am making great progress. My wife is impressed and I cannot wait to visit her family and feel more like a part of the conversation instead of just a frustrated observer. Could not imagine leanring another language agai I truly would not have thought to be able to learn another language and for sure not that quickly. Granted, I am still learning (levels 2 and 3) but the ease of use, intuity and the combination of pictures and situations really makes it stick in your head. Thank you Rosetta! Patrick March 11, 2009
