new2italian I purchased the Rosetta Stone online version so that I could use it on my ipad. I have been using program on average about an hour a day and really enjoy the manner in which it teaches you. I am excited to see how much progress I can make from now until my 3 month mark of using the program ! December 6, 2012

Great program I use the online subscription to learn Italian. I don't get to work with it every day and my schedule is odd so being able to study where ever and when ever I want is wonderful. I don't have to worry about bogging down my laptop with huge programs or lugging around my laptop. I just log in and start practicing. Great program. November 30, 2012

After learning Italian in Florence, Rosetta Stone has been a fantastic way for me to keep up with it and not get rusty since I've been back home for a year. I'm planning on sticking with the digital immersion until I can get myself back there to the real thing. November 30, 2012

Enjoyable way to learn I am about 50% through the first course, and I have to say that I am enjoying this method of learning, and find (even to my surprise) that I am retaining much more than I anticipated. I was initially a little skeptical about the lack of direct translation/meanings, and I still occasionally supplement my course learning with looking up verb conjugations, etc., but overall I think it is very effective and it is always fun to use. I am trying to spend 4-5 hours each week within TOTALe - from coursework to games and studio sessions. I have found the studio sessions to be invaluable, even though I was scared to try them at first. The guides/instructors are very enthusiastic and encouraging, and will even use pantomime to get an idea across when you are having difficulty understanding. It's nice to have the "A-ha!" moments whenever learning something new, especially with a new language, and TOTALe is providing plenty of those. Even though sometimes I wonder how much progress I am really making, when I go back and repeat a review or older core lesson, I realize how much I really have picked up and can now comprehend instantly and without much thought. So far, I am really enjoying RosettaStone, and I encourage anyone on the fence to give it a try. November 30, 2012

So glad I signed up! I have only been using the Italian Rosetta Stone for a little over a month, and cannot believe how useful it is. The learning style is good for me as I am a visual/spacial learner so classroom style is difficult for me. This is interactive and the pictures make it very understandable as there is no English translation. It really does take practice and my goal is to do at least 30 minutes a day. I had one live session with the native speaker and it was fun. I was very nervous, but she made me relaxed and was understanding and encouraging. I can use it on my iphone, ipad, and laptop, so it is very portable when traveling or waiting.....the sound can be turned off if necessary, or if you are unable to do the speech part at the time. I do intend to do the entire program and hopefully continue on.... November 28, 2012

Couldn't be easier Rosetta Stone is truly the easiest way to learn a new language. I am using the online version which makes it convenient to use anytime I have a free moment. Even the most basic of knowledge was extremely helpful as I navigated around Italy two years ago. Now that I am going back in 2013, I will be that much more prepared. November 28, 2012

Online access really enhances learning I bought the Totale Italian program and didn't use the free online access a first because I was unsure of myself. When I finally did start using the Rosetta Studio and Rosetta World features, I found they really enhanced my learning and made me feel much more confident. I have renewed my online access and will again. June 28, 2012

I thought this product was a great value for me. I was able to buy it when it was offered as a 3-month package (looks like only 12 month available now). I had learned Italian (not fluent but pretty well) 25 years ago in college but had never had occasion to use it since. I wanted to relearn it for a trip to Italy. What I liked about this product was that I did not have to guess how many levels I could finish when purchasing the product. I was able to go as far and as fast as I could. The downside is that if i travel to Italy again in the future, since it was all online I do not have anything in my possession to review again at that time. June 24, 2012
