MIxed feelings I had some problems getting the program set up and still find it a bit cumbersome at times. It seemed complicated to me at times. April 11, 2011

RS Experience I have been in the U.S. for a little over a year now. The first ten months were very difficult because I had a hard time talking in English. Rosetta Stone Review My husband is been using Rosetta Stone to learn English. He is been doing pretty good for the past month studying 1 hour a day 6 days a week. I have been able to see his progress in understanding more and more when I talk to him in Englihs. However, he still has a hard time writing and speaking. I think that the software has helped a lot, but it needs more features in regards to writing. Also, I think that the speaking excersices are great and they do help with pronunciation and vocalization. It is up to the person to use it with others rather than just the software. I am positive that with more time, my husband will feel confident enough to use the English he is learning from Rosetta Stone with others more than just the computer. November 5, 2010

Good purchase I bought Rosetta Stone so my wife can learn English better. She is doing good in the courses and find them to be easy to follow. She enjoys the activities and the practice lessons for each level. I am thinking about getting Rosetta Stone for learning Spanish. Life Changing I bought the program for my non-English speaking foster child. In the begining, she was not happy about learning a whole new language, but once she started studying daily with the Rosetta Stone software she felt encouraged and would even study more than she was supposed to. Amazing Educational Tool I work with clients from many different countries who are in need of learning English as soon as possible, upon arriving to the U.S. I have personally witnessed the rapid language acquisition that occurs with the clients' use of Rosetta Stone, as compared to the clients who choose not to utilize the program, in favor of a classroom setting. New Use for those with Aphasia This has been one of the most helpful tools in my husband's recovery from a stroke which left any kind of expressive language difficult. He practices on Rosetta Stone English everyday and calls me in whenever he accomplishes a new skill. I can hear and see his improvement during his conversations with me and his ability to read more fluently. He is also practicing his writing skills. I am so happy that I thought of using Rosetta Stone instead of the typical speech rehab tools. This is so much more effective. I recommend it for anyone who has suffered a stroke or any kind of brain injury. This gives us hope for his continuing progress. July 14, 2009

It is good or not? I had heard from my friends how successful Rosetta Stone is meant to be, so I myself went out and bought all English levels, 1, 2 and 3, as I've been wanting to learn English for quite a long time. I was impressed at how easy it made especialy vocabulary learning. I would recommend Rosetta Stone as a means of a push in the right direction. He is working twelve hours a day, seven days a week and has little time to improve his English Language skills. Rosetta Stone software is easy to use in the comfort of his home. No matter how tired he is, he can turn the computer on and in 30 minutes or less experience a real life, exciting and motivating English lesson - without leaving home! great stuff! this program pretty much rocks. the challenge is when you can't pronounces something just right--and even a native speaker of the language hardly can! but usually, it's just good for making sure you know how to use the language. also, the first level doesn't help with grammar. i'm hoping 2 and 3 will get to that a bit more...? The best This was the best investment ever and still is. I'm from Holland and my English was very bad. I'm 68 years old. I learned a lot from Rosetta Stone. 24/7 Teacher I purchased the Rosetta American English course for my husband and he used it every night after work and weekends, noting that his pronunciation was improving and his vocabulary and understanding was expanding. He said it was enjoyable and effective. He also was pleased with the extra CDs that he could play in his car radio. There were two technical difficulties: the headset jack wore out from the wear and tear of connecting to the USB port, and the car CD packaging left goo on the some of the CDs rendering them useless. When I reported these problems to Rosetta, however, the phone rep graciously sent free replacements for the faulty products. We were impressed with the quick, and courteous service as much as with the intelligent, user-friendly language instruction. July 10, 2009

Its not just hype No, the claim that Rosetta Stone is the best language course ever isn't just hype. My work takes me to Korea quite a lot and have met a very nice gentleman who for all his efforts to speak english, it was almost impossible to understand him. Though I hadn't tried it myself, I purchased the course for him based on a friends recommendation. Well after 4-weeks, my Korean friend's ability to communicate improved tremendously. His new found confidence to speak english is possibly the most amazing aspect of his development. Congrats Rosetta Stone. My English speaking is improved. I am from Thailand. I speak Thai. I came to the United States because I want to improve my English. I live here almost 1 year but my English speaking is not good enough. So I decided to buy the Rosetta Stone Program English level 1, 2 and 3 set. I practice my English with Rosetta Stone Program almost everyday. I am enjoying Rosetta Stone and making progress toward mastering English. It's hard for me to speak English. This program teach me the pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, listening, reading, writing, and speaking. And the important thing is there is review in each lesson. Rosetta--English I am using the English version of Rosetts Stone levels one-3 to teach English to my Spanish speaking wife and son. Even though they are at different levels of learning they are each challenged to learn something new each time they take a lesson. Good Investment I don't want to buy at first because it's expensive and I though this is the same with other English tutorials but I was wrong. The first time I try it I learn more on nouns & pronouns, singular & plural and most of all the pronounciation. After 2 weeks my wife could see the difference in the way I talk. I am not that fluent right now but I am more confident and could observe that my co-workers would ask me less to repeat what I am saying. March 26, 2009
