These seven languages join 14 languages previously launched in the Version 3 software, which allows learners to experience a new level of interactivity in the award-winning Dynamic Immersion® method. Also new in Version 3 are proprietary speech-recognition capabilities and advanced learning techniques.
"Rosetta Stone is pleased to offer our customers these seven additional languages in Version 3,” noted Tom Adams, CEO and president of Rosetta Stone."Our mission is to deliver the best technology-based solutions for learning languages; these additions to our Version 3 suite of options brings us one step closer to delivering on that mission."
All seven languages will be launched in the United States on September 30, 2008. Market-specific products will follow immediately for the German, Japanese, Korean, and United Kingdom markets.
The non-U.S. Version 3 releases of these languages will also include the introduction of the Audio Companion™ product into these markets. Recently introduced in the U.S. market, Audio Companion allows learners to extend their language learning while away from their computers and reinforce learning on the go.
