Tak Shiohama, President, Rosetta Stone Japan, Inc.

As president of Rosetta Stone Japan Inc., a subsidiary of Rosetta Stone Inc., Tak Shiohama oversees the company's operations in Tokyo.

Prior to joining Rosetta Stone, he worked as strategic consultant of Accenture and A.T. Kearney. He was also the Vice President, Marketing of ASKUL, the largest office products retailer in Japan with a unique direct marketing system for corporate customers, and was director of value engineering for German-based SAP Japan, the world's largest business software company.

Tak earned an MBA from the University of Chicago. He also holds a bachelor of economics degree from Osaka Prefecture University, Osaka, Japan. He is fluent in Japanese and English and is learning Spanish, French and Chinese.
