Steven Wines manages the company's operations in the United Kingdom and Europe. His responsibilities include developing and supervising the execution of the firm's European strategy, its local sales and marketing initiatives, along with management of the Rosetta Stone UK and German web sites, product fulfilment, operations and financial systems.

He has nearly 20 years’ experience working in the educational services market. Prior to joining Rosetta Stone , for six years he held the position of chief executive officer of Home Learning College. During his tenure the company grew to become the UK’s largest private distance training provider. Prior to that he was the managing director of The English Language Centre, an international language training company.

Steven has also managed businesses in Japan, Russia, Spain and Greece and has extensive international business experience in the Far East, Europe, South America and Africa. He holds a Masters in English Language and Linguistics from Oxford University and a Diploma in Marketing.
