Michael Wu

As general counsel and corporate secretary, Michael Wu is responsible for all legal, corporate governance and compliance matters at Rosetta Stone Inc.

Prior to joining Rosetta Stone in November 2006, Michael was vice president and general counsel at Montreal-based Teleglobe International Holdings Ltd., a NASDAQ listed provider of international telecommunications. Before working at Teleglobe, Michael spent three years in Hong Kong as a senior attorney with Global One, the international joint venture between Sprint, Deutsche Telekom and France Telecom. Earlier in his career he was an associate with the law firms of Swidler & Berlin (now known as Bingham McCutchen), in Washington, D.C., and Baker Botts in Houston, where he focused on corporate transactions for his global clients.

Michael holds a juris doctorate degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Emory University. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
