Judy Verses, President, Global Institutions

Judy Verses is the President, Global Institutions for Rosetta Stone, responsible for all institutional business across all geographies.

Judy has extensive experience across business, government, education, and consumer sectors in technology and communications industries. She joins us most recently from Blackboard where she served as President and Chief Client Officer responsible for Global Sales and Marketing. Previously, she was President and COO of Blackboard Learn.

Prior to joining Blackboard, Judy held several senior leadership roles at Verizon. Notably, she successfully launched Verizon FIOS. Some of her roles included: SVP Marketing for Verizon’s portfolio of voice, video and data products; SVP Broadband Solutions; Vice President for Business Sales; and Vice President/General Manager of Small Business Sales. Judy began her career with Xerox in sales.

Judy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut and a Winner of Washington Business Journal Award for “Women Who Mean Business” in 2009. She speaks English and is learning Spanish.
